We have written here a couple of times before about Kansas being the state of denial. They have blocked wind farms in one off the windiest areas of the country. "We don't like the way they look." they whine. Do they really not understand the concept of global warming which can spell disaster for the human race, or is something else at work there?

The Attorney General of Kansas, Steve Six, has joined ten other states in a law suit to block any legislation to allow the federal government to regulate greenhouse gases. We have seen recent examples of why many of the sectors of industry need to be regulated. He believes that all regulations on the emission of carbon should be decided by the politicians. Mr. Six doesn't want the federal government to control emissions. By this he means he doesn't want the EPA to control emissions by declaring CO2 pollution a danger to society and the country. Wait just a darn minute. Aren't those politicians the very same people that the conservatives want off our backs? Am I the only one to see a problem here? They can't have it both ways, or can you? If you control both houses of Congress, which is a possibility in November,  you can. You merely single out your handmaidens to fund for re-election and they will make your dreams come true. Government of the money, for the money and by the money.
